  1. G-ForceJunkie Who's driving?

Its alive! And my memory is refreshed why I hate CV carbs :) Still got some tinkering and fiddling to do, but the new tires are spooned on, the carbs running ok. Vacuum pettock is DOA despite everything looking good inside and passing a test with a mity vac on the bench.

Flexi, I am really in awe of your knowledge about putting old, underused bikes on the road.

Seeing as how we've got a built in resource and how that Honda CB350 cafe bike got such good reviews, maybe somebody ought to consider a low cost, high style steam-punk rat bike resurrection. (RatBikeResurrection - Great name for a band...)

    Excellent :D

So we are building a group CB350 ? There is one near here with a genuine springer front end  but he won't sell it......just gonna let it rot.

Nothing to be in awe of haha, you folks knowledge of the science behind sport bikes awes me.......I just hate it when people throw shit away. They don't make this stuff anymore and just about anything can be fixed/used if you monkey with it enough. I do wish people wouldn't be chopping up the nice bikes to build the cliche' racers though.....plenty of tier10 bikes around. I have two H1 motors soaking right now I bought for $30 some time ago that had suffered underwater when the Illinois river flooded. The fins were broke on every head but I sold them for $75 to a drag racer who does "butch" cuts on his heads. Five of the six jugs (std bore) are perfect (just need bored), including both centers :D. There is a shit pot of good parts there and he was junking them.

Flexi, do you know Dave Rosno? With your H1 penchant, I think you'd get along real well.

Could we do a group build?

    I like that idea.

That would be pretty awesome. Needs to be documented, of course.

No he's retired from racing now but used to have Visionsports Riding School. I knew him from racing CCS and did a private trackday session with him when I was racing. He's an H1 guy though and not far from your area.
