250,000 miles on a GSXR 750

    Dang - I don't know what to be more impressed by: This guys commitment to riding a sportbike, or the longevity of the bike.

    I guess I'll go with the bike, since I'm an engine guy. I thought I was doing good with 180k on an F250. I didn't think sportbike engines were capable of that much use.

    I bet the boys at Suzuki would like to have that one back for a teardown inspection at some point.

    The sportiest bikes I've ever seen with that kind of mileage was VFR's. I was in the Smokies riding in the late 90's and saw a bagged up, well used VFR with almost 300k on the clock. Just looking at the odometer made my butt hurt.
