This discussion will be fairly tame compared to some of the excellent in-depth threads by Evl, Flexi, et all...but wanted to post some updates to where I am going with the "new" bike...

Plans for this season are to keep things very basic, so I can have everything done by the first hint of Spring weather. Next Winter will likely see a more extensive pull-down to do some refresh and rehab...til then, I'm embracing the patina... :thumb:

Currently, the wheels are off and at the powder coater, with a set of 2CT's sitting on the shelf waiting for their return. New stoppers on order up front, and a stunningly beautiful titanium exhaust has already arrived from Japan...(thank you Simon)...

Everyday, I catch myself thinking about wailing out of the Sweeper at MCADX Days aboard this thing...

    Stay tuned...

I think you could shed some weight if you went to a smaller battery.

VFR's have notorious charging issues...I'm taking no chances, and converting to a dual setup...

The PO had done it, along with the ride height adjuster...

Are you thinking hardtail bobber or custom fighter?
  19. Baketech Now with 75% renewed vigor...

Neither...Givi racked bagger...it only requires two holes through the tail piece to make it work.... :thumb:

I know a guy in Oz that can fab you up some Coke can shims for your wobbly countershaft sprocket.

Got the BLS peg-lowering kit ordered up yet?

edit: don't forget the belt drive conversion
