And this is how you crash $140k worth of Ducati

The rear was probably shinny from the burnout he did, to heat the rear, just before that qualifying lap...

Or from running down miles of hot super slab to get to Mulholland.

I give you all permission to harass me when I crash my Desmo too...

Ah, if he could afford to build the bike in the first place, he can afford to fix it. Since it's on the street I'd assume he has insurance on it anyway. Throw it back together and do it again.

the RS was the customer superbike. Like the Althea Ducatis. The F was the Factory. I wouldn't think either would be available to buy but I supposed if you have enough money you can get whatever you want. The S and the R were run of the mill bikes regularly available at the dealer.

    Is the reason he's a douche/asshole/jackwagon because he crashed a $100k bike?

Sure doesn't look like he was "hooning around France" on a supermoto (which was cool). Looks more like he just scared himself and grabbed too much brake. And I don't know anyone else who's done that on the street before...

Yeah it kind of reminds me of my "I can see my kneecap through my jeans" episode circa 1995.

Looks to me like he was riding over his head especially considering the situation. It has nothing to do with the price of the bike. I would call anyone who did that a loser even if they were on a 50cc Lambretta . . . .

    or a ZX-10

The guy doesn't look like he was even leaned terribly far before he decided to do a forearm workout with the front brakes. Oops!

It's starting to look like that one WSBK video from about 10 years ago where everyone that went through the corner kept crashing and piling up on the grass.

How about this: when you get it give me permission to ride it. Then I'll crash it, and harass you for the poor decision to let me ride it!
