I haven't been a Honda fanboi nearly as long as some on here but I don't think it's any new news that I really have a thing for the classic red/white and R/W/B paint jobs they have offered over the years. I absolutely love that they are adding a couple more very sexy paint jobs to the mix for 2012. I'm not a huge fan of the three spoke Honda wheel but make it white and all of a sudden it looks much better. The 600RR paint is similar to what I've been envisioning for my XR100 'tard for next season, all red with a white Honda wing up front. If I ever take up hard core bike collecting my garage will be filled with lots of red, white, and blue:thumb::cool:

I still keep a pic of that bike that you posted once before as possible inspiration for future projects.

I do like the new 1000RR wheels. and I saw that 600 last week and thought it was awesome looking. didn't notice the bare frame, I like it better than the black.

Those new wheels are awesome. I wish they had put them on the 600RR.

The scheme is ok, but I don't like the white wheels. I do think it's time for Honda to pitch the 3 spoke design. I still think the black 08 1k's with the ghost flames were one of the better factory jobs, even though it's kind of plain.

I would be curious to see how the current viffer would look with one of these themes. Hell, even the anniversary scheme would be cool.

The 2012 600RR with the white wheels looks even better in person!

the white piece below the headlight needs to be red. its like they tried to make an extra "feather" for the wing. otherwise I still really like it.

Now that you say that I agree (also still agree on the terrible 3 spoke wheels) but I still really like it overall.

Too much wing, and don't like the black detailing and lower cowel either.

I am trying to like the red one but there is to much going on / contrasting colors that don't fit the lines. And the white wheels tip the wheelbarrow.

I like the white one. Back when I got my 929, I really liked the white/red 2000 model. Ended up with an '01, so had to settle for the red/black.

Like it too, especially after adding the white wing shadows that Tapeworks made.

I must ride that bike this year. It sat all last year. As a result, I learned how to rebuild the rear brake master cylinder and change the caliper piston seals!
