Only 170? Sissy. I see they cleaned the shower for the interview.

Carney Racing makes an appearance at 2:16. That's Alanna (my wife) talking to Andy in our Endurance pit. Must be 2008 or so?

No air in the garages? He must have sucked it all up . . . .

    I thought the same things.

and that guy who said 170 then said he throws it into T5 at 120, I ain't so sure about that one either. I gotta be losing 3-5 seconds there cause I don't think I've ever even had my speedo say 100 going over the hump. If I follow his instruction I'll be doing 16s for sure next year.

The average trackday rider at Grattan that has been there a few times honestly thinks they are doing all that and more. I have heard some conversations that were hilarious while walking through the paddock. Larry Denning and I overheard a couple of relatively green 600 riders talking about turning 22s and carrying 140 mph into turn 9 . . . Larry asked one of them if they would show him "the fast way" around the track. I nearly choked on my coffee trying to keep a straight face . . . . . .

honestly just before the hump is the only spot I ever see it. Not really why sure cause I don't do it on purpose, it just there in my face.

    That's what paper tape is for . . . .

Apparently "into turn 9" was used a little creatively :)

Although, a lot of these guys refer to what their speedo shows in their videos, and between speedo error, the error from riding off the center of the tire, and the BS multiplier the error can be a ton.

They must have showed Larry the fast way around, and apparently he remembered it!

that's what I did on the 929 and its how I learned not to look at it. I should put the tape on there now and write 120 on there so I can say I'm doing 120. its just right at the hump is the only spot on any track where I ever see it.

Oh yes I've had a guy at work regale me with the time he did 160 on his cruiser.
  17. abtech Believe

The guy's buddy was telling him how late he was on the brakes into 9. I wonder if he brought his wet suit? Another source of those pesky speedo readings is the 5 teeth they added on the rear sprocket . . . .

    Go Pro footage

I looked at some video.. a true 100 would be pushing it. If someone was going 100 that would be one of the guys who gets air going over it. 80 is probably a more realistic number.

I've seen JetBDude ride the whole track looking back at me at 120.
