    You guys obviously don't know luxury when you feel it. It's whale penis leather. It's been de-boned. The only trick is you can't use this on a sportbike. Too much rubbing back and forth causes issues....

    Um, the 2012 Goldwing does look nice to me, and while I'd like to try owning one, I guess I'm not the demographic for now.

    I'll leave the penis talk to you folks.

    Bike(s):
    R6, DRZ400
    When the previous generation came out (I think that was 2000) I took one for a test drive and was impressed. I also was very much not the demographic at that time, but even then I could see myself getting one to tour with my better half. I'd like to say I don't get caught up in all the hp games but that would be a lie, I could get used to a 'wing with 180hp, and 6th gear.

    I have never (yet) owned a Gold Wing, but did spend a week and ~2500 miles on one in 2008. To me, the current generation 'Wing seems only slightly underpowered. In reality, it's pretty darn good. A sixth gear would be nice, and maybe a bit more power.

    I'm not turned off by the styling of the new one, but the whole bike falls a bit short of what I'd been hoping for.
