Not forgetting age limits on the bigger cc's, then there's the insurance premiums.

Comparing a CB400 to a Corolla...thats funny. A Corolla is in fact, just a Corolla and thats all it can be. An experience with a Honda CB400 is not just an experience with a sub-compact motorcycle. Kaz Yoshima would probably think that comparison is funny as well. His CB400 race bikes were known to kick some big bike ass back in the day, around Ontario, Riverside, and Willow Springs back in the late 70s. His bikes and his reputation were known as giant killers. There is great performance potential in these bikes and Kaz proved that. One can only imagine what he could do with todays version of the CB400.

The CB400 is an all around, standard in appearance motorcycle, thats like a jack of all trades, master of none. It would be a great starter bike if it were brought over here, but we all know that isnt going to happen any time soon. So my CB-1 will remain in a room all by his self...

    People will race anything.

Go to Europe or Japan, you'll see what these bikes are made for. Cheap, throwaway, daily grind transpo.

The tiered licensing and insurance situation of these places doesn't exist here.

They'd sell 12 of them in NA, and then get pissed if the parts counters didn't support them...
