Honda UK giving complimentary touring pack with VFR1200F

    Took me a week just to get them to 28% off MSRP. Since that's the best they could do, it's part of the reason I walked away from the VFR1200.

    28% off MSRP on a motorcycle is pretty desperate...somebody has got to be near or losing money at that point.

    Can you get DCT with it yet?

    Sorry for the ambiguity.

    The 28% was off the MSRP of the accessories (referring to the point of the original post, which was the 'complimentary touring pack').

    I got them to come down to $13,399 on the bike.

    They said they could not get a DCT at that time (almost a month ago), but then again, I was not interested in DCT.

    While people here don't "get" the vfr, it has been among the top selling bikes in the uk and europe since it launched.
    Bike always get cheaper in the fall... This is nothing new. ;)

    Last time I checked, most Americans preferred that we didn't follow Europe's lead ... :D

    Seriously ... A complimentary touring pack like that would really help to overcome the price difference issue.

    A full OEM luggage set for what I could haggle that bike to would almost make me consider it, even considering some reviews I have read about it having some scary suspension and being dog slow.
