This from the artist who didn't even paint his own bike? :poke:

Shenders, I take it you did a thorough crack inspection? I need a tubing bender...

I painted the last one. :p Ask Hammer how crappy it looks :)

I'm still jealous of his welds cause I can't even do them that good. I'd probably burn right through it but then again I've never even tried welding.

    Very nice. I like :thumb:

And now I know who to contact when I get to that point on the VFR project ;)

Visually, yes - But nothing fancier. I also did a little manual stress testing after initial mounting. I'm confident that it will hold me, but I wouldn't sell it to anyone.

Nah - If I can weld anyone can weld. You'd just end up with the same fugly results...Initially.

I'll be waiting for the call :)

Dude - did you set both banks to the same values with the fuel trims? I just ran across an interesting post from the dynojet dude that said on their first 999 pcv install, they found that the front cylinder was upwards of a third leaner in some cells versus the rear. They said correcting that didn't really make a difference in peak power, but paid off massively in midrange and driveability. Might just be the magic bullet (expresso?) to get you into the 3 figure range. :)

I did individual maps for front and rear cylinders, and set the rear a few clicks richer, purely in recognition of its inferior cooling. To do it right I'd have needed individual O2 probes for each cylinder, but couldn't afford the $ for such a setup.

I'm sure you're correct - more torque should be available with a little tweaking.
