My grandad would have said that was spoken like a true gentleman.....then he would also have said your paint work kicks some ass.
HGT don't worry too much about the GP Shift, just come up with something to say to yourself over and over as you ride. When I rode SSGs CBR1k it was one of the few times in years that I'd ridden with regular shift. I just kept saying up is up. then I almost rear ended E on the straight as he looked back at me and I forgot and made a downshift instead of an upshift, thank god for that sweet slipper clutch.
One of the unique things is that we decided to do gold leaf on the tank. It's the first time I've messed with it, but I gave it a shot. It's really hard to work with. It's so thin and fragile even static electricity (or breath) will tear it. After the gold was on, I striped the black outline by hand, which I'm not really good with small hand stuff.. it isn't perfect, but it turned out ok. Next time I'll try to make a stencil for the stencil. Kind of a neat process though.
I came out beautifully. If you get about 2" away, you can tell it was hand brushed but I think that adds a bit of character!
Damn, that will hurt my lap time on the RC. The more details the slower I'll be :-( The way things look I'll be in the 40's
I need to move some stuff around and push it outside to get the pics and that involves a bit more than "point and shoot". Even pushing the bike a few feet is verbotin these days with all the back stuff . . . .
just take some close up's BWHip style.....background doesn't matter then. ok so i don't know much about photography: lighting, exposure blah blah and all that, make it easy on yourself.
I have a few I took in the garage with a cell. Wish I would have taken some outside with a real camera. Yeah, we need Bwhip's. His always look crystal clear, even close.
I have the gear but the inside lighting just isn't ideal nor is it easy to get a full bike shot in the space I have.
