    The downward trend is worrying for us enthusiasts, but I would like to see the same chart plotted with margin dollars rather than units.

    By Honda's definition, a bike also includes scooters. And yes, Asia will scarf down scooters like the proverbial obese child consumes baked goods covered in a sugar substance. And for places where people 5 years ago couldn't afford any form of personal transportation, it's a huge turnaround.

    The 80's are repeating soon. During that time after a huge boom the market crashed for about 5-10 years. Many of the mega dealers dissappeared.
