Because as soon as you hook electronics to a bike, your bollocks fall off and the motor explodes....fact.

Apparently Honda have a proprietary connector on the throttle position sensor that they won't release to the aftermarket.

If they BOUGHT a VFR1200F, then they'd HAVE one of the proprietary connectors ... :)

edit: I hope they get serious about a PCV for this bike. They'll sell a bunch.

Was discussing this with a friend who pointed out the severe neutering that is done in the lower gears and your dyno curve proves the point...you should point DJ at your blog and tell them to whip it, whip it good. Free proprietary connector with purchase!

p.s. Not sure if there is even a factory manual or electrical manual, but if it is like they do for the cars...they give you obscure pn#'s in there for the connector shells that you can order for 'repair'.

Our STI pulls harder in third than first, it is almost annoying enough for me to do some modding...

The fighter bomber is definitely packing.

Healthy run for sure, I'd be wanting that "flat spot" removed for sure.

What are you planning on doing to get rid of it?
  13. phobe vfr1200fa.blogspot.com

Not too worried about it right now. I'll wait and see if someone comes up with a good solution.

that'd be pretty impressive if you could "solve" that dip on your blog...

Some "street cred" to assist with future replies to your buddy who thinks shamu is too fat.
